NOT NEW. JUST VERIFIED.
YERSE IS A CERTIFIED

For more than sixty years, we have believed in a more conscious way of designing, producing and growing. Since February 2026, that commitment has been backed by B Corp certification, one of the world’s most rigorous standards for social, environmental and governance performance.

A LETTER FROM OUR CEOs

Dear YERSE community,

We would like to share a very important milestone for the company: YERSE IS NOW A CERTIFIED B CORPORATION. This international certification evaluates business practices and the commitment to transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Today, there are around 8,000 Certified B Corporations worldwide. In Spain, there are approximately 260 companies, representing a very small proportion of the country’s business landscape. In the fashion industry, the number is even more limited: only a handful of brands have successfully completed this process.

B Corp certification is not declarative. It requires companies to undergo a rigorous assessment based on more than 200 indicators covering governance, environmental impact, working conditions, traceability, supply chain and business model. It also requires companies to legally embed their social and environmental commitment and to renew the certification every three years.

Being part of this community means meeting measurable and verifiable standards, not simply making voluntary commitments. For us, it represents the formal recognition of a way of doing things that has been part of YERSE since 1964: responsibility, traceability and commitment to the people behind the project.

As we begin this new chapter, we would like to be guided by two simple yet meaningful principles:

Being B Corp does not mean we do everything perfectly.
It means we are willing to measure ourselves and keep improving.

For a family-owned company like ours, with more than sixty years of history, this certification is a way to ensure that we continue to evolve without losing our essence.
We would especially like to thank our teams, suppliers and partners for making this possible. This achievement is collective and reflects a shared effort to improve every stage of our work.

Thank you for making it possible and for being part of this great family. We move forward.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE B CORP?

The B Corp standard measures a company’s overall performance and covers five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

This certification is achieved through a rigorous assessment process that evaluates our business practices and our commitment to transparency, accountability and continuous improvement. A holistic approach that encourages constant evolution and greater awareness of the impact of business decisions.

THE ASSESSMENT.

WHAT DOES BEING B CORP MEAN FOR YERSE?

For more than sixty years, we have believed in a more conscious way of designing, producing and growing.
Today, that way of working is backed by a certification that recognises it.
As a B Corp, we are proud to be part of a global community working to drive systemic change through collective action, with one shared goal: promoting an economy that serves people and the planet beyond the product.

“Promoting a slower approach, grounded in craftsmanship, durability and respect for the people and environments that make our work possible.”

This is not something new.
It is a way of doing things that has been part of YERSE since 1964.

YERSE Updated know-how designed to last. Since 1964.Chapter I. Redefining the Essential We present the new positioning of YERSE: a new era where tradition and modernity converge. A project in evolution that embraces its textile legacy, redefines its image, and reaffirms what has always been at its core: the essential.
Chapter II. The Meaning of Change "This is not about changing who we are, but about expressing more clearly what has defined us from the beginning: craftsmanship, honesty, and simplicity." Our purpose has remained unchanged since 1964 — to create garments that endure, that accompany, that speak to what truly matters. Today, we do so with a more contemporary mindset: more aware, more open, more in tune with the future. Revisiting our identity is also an act of coherence. It means pausing, acknowledging what’s been built, and updating it with care. This is not a turning point, but a natural evolution. A new way to tell the same story — in today’s language. In this new chapter, YERSE reaffirms its commitment to textile heritage, quality, and honest design. We evolve to stay true to who we’ve always been: a brand that champions authenticity, simplicity, and durability as the true values of design.

Chapter III. Our Positioning
"Our updated know-how — perfected over six decades — is the foundation of everything we do. We design garments that endure, that accompany, that express what matters most."
At YERSE, we believe clothing should be a reflection of the woman who wears it. That’s why we create elegant, functional pieces crafted from high-quality materials — especially natural and recycled fibres. As a family-run project with 60 years of history, we honour tradition while embracing new techniques to develop responsible garments that transcend fleeting trends. We promote a conscious approach to design, production, and consumption. More than a brand, YERSE is a space that brings together women who value fashion, art, and intentional design — inspiring them to appreciate the quality and simplicity of things made well.
Chapter IV. Our Name
"Our name comes from the British island of Jersey — birthplace of wool knitwear and home to the understated elegance of fishermen and farmers. A connection to authenticity and simplicity that still inspires every collection."
Known for its natural beauty and Merino wool, Jersey became a symbol of our beginnings in knitwear — when wool was our essential raw material. More than six decades later, YERSE remains connected to that island spirit: the quiet elegance, the practical sophistication, the essence of something true and lasting. YERSE is more than a name; it is a tribute to what is authentic and essential.
Chapter V. Brand Territory
We stand for what is real and lasting — those essential things in life that never go out of style.
Chapter VI. The Essence
In short, YERSE reaffirms a positioning that bridges past and present to dress the future with what is essential.Updated know-how designed to last. Since 1964.
